Cutting Test

The cutting test is the practical proof that you can cut safely and with correct technique using a sharp sword. With a real blade, tatami mats (rolled rice straw mats) are cut — a benchmark for posture, body mechanics, and blade control.

The test is exclusively for Gladiatores members and requires basic sword fighting experience. Personal approval by the trainer is required.
