Swordsmanship that is genuinely fun
Longsword, rapier, messer and other weapons based on historical models. You learn real fencing techniques with a real sword in hand.
sport for body and mind
Historical fencing is more than swinging a blade. You learn movement, read your opponent and have to make the right decision at the right moment. Strength and stamina matter — but technique, timing and quick thinking decide just as much.
martial art with history
Our techniques come from fencing manuals of the 15th and 16th centuries. We read them, try them out and find out what works. You don’t learn how someone imagines sword fighting today, but what the old masters actually handed down.

Weekend Workshops
For anyone who wants to try something new or go deeper into fencing. Our workshops give individual weapons and topics more room than regular training — and are still suitable for beginners.
What is HEMA?
HEMA stands for Historical European Martial Arts. We reconstruct fencing techniques from manuscripts of the 15th and 16th centuries — longsword, messer, rapier, wrestling. No role-play, no choreography. A martial art with a written tradition.
